What type of people does NCI hire?
NCI hires for a wide variety of disciplines but mainly NCI hires civil/structural engineers, draftpersons, estimators, project managers, operation managers, and sales professionals. We prefer that a candidate has prior experience in the metal construction industry or related to be considered for these positions.
How do I know if NCI is hiring?
NCI posts all current job openings on the corporate website and also on the employment jobline which is 281-897-7517 on a weekly basis. In addition, NCI utilizes job boards such as monster.com, hotjobs.com, techies.com, and other internet sources.
Do you have to have a college degree to work at NCI?
No. Some positions such as design engineer, draftperson, etc. do require either vocational training or a Bachelor degree from an accredited institution but many positions require only prior experience in that particular field.
Will NCI contact me when I send my resume?
Because of the high volume of inquiries and resumes NCI receives on a daily basis, we are only able to contact candidates that we are interested in interviewing.
How long does NCI keep my resume? Do I have to send in a resume/application for every job I am interested in?
NCI keeps all resumes and applications for a period of one year from the date it was submitted. During that time, if a position becomes available that matches your background, we will review your resume. After one year, you will need to send a new resume for any positions for which you are interested.
